Home Groups

Home Groups 2015At Grace, our desire is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by connecting, equipping, and multiplying.  We see Home Groups (or small groups) as the primary way in which this can be done, and we wholeheartedly encourage you to become involved in one today!

Grace’s Home Groups are built upon four foundational principles:

  • A Biblical Foundation (Home Groups are a place where we gather together to study the Scriptures, learn from the Scriptures, and apply them to our lives.)
  • A Relational Environment (Home Groups are a great place to develop relationships and camaraderie that provide accountability, encouragement, and support in daily walking through the Christian life.)
  • Intentional Discipleship (In Home Groups, our goal is that we would grow together. The Christian life ought to be one of growth, as believers are raised up to do the work of the ministry!)
  • A Reproducible Process (Our Home Groups are designed to reproduce. That is, as men and women are raised up in Christ, they become equipped to become leaders themselves, to encourage others in following Christ, and to start additional Home Groups!)

Our Home Groups seek to spur the church body on to love and good deeds in a variety of ways.  They often follow the Message-Based Discussion Questions as a way to dig deeper into the Scriptures and apply the Sunday message for life (these are available for download on the Sermons page). They may also choose another study that the individual group wants to dig into for personal transformation and application.  They will also include components of worship, fellowship, service, and prayer.

Please contact the office if you would like more information on any of these groups, or if you would like contact information for a particular group leader.
