Grace Evangelical Church teaches God’s Word that those attending might love God, love others and make disciples.
We exist to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 3:18)
Our vision is to create a perpetual cycle of gospel-centered ministry that grows a healthy church, nurtures healthy men and women, in order to establish healthy households.
Our purpose is to glorify God by means of:
Presenting Jesus Christ as the only solution for man’s spiritual dilemma.
Presenting God’s Word as sufficient for all challenges;Providing a Christ-centered ministry through teaching, worship, fellowship and spiritual growth;
Preparing people to stand firm in a difficult world and to have spiritually strong, joyful and productive life;
Providing a weekly time of worship, prayer and small group opportunities.
Grace Evangelical Church believes in seven core values as our purpose. These values describe what we do and our strategy for living. Two values are foundational and five rest on the first two. If these values are true for you, we invite you to join us.
The first two values are the foundation of our church.
Jesus Christ is Lord –
We value a vibrant and personal relationship with our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
We are set apart for a love relationship with the resurrected Jesus Christ.
Our relationship with Jesus results from an intimate and daily walk with Him.
As we personally and corporately submit to Jesus as Lord, He will complete His work in us.
God’s Word is all Sufficient –
We value God’s Word as the source of absolute truth to transform lives.
God’s inspired Word teaches, reproves, corrects and trains us for every good work.
Clear biblical teaching is the catalyst for personal and corporate transformation.
God’s Word is sufficient to deal with all problems
The next five values, the pillars, rest upon the first two values, the foundation.
Meaningful Worship –
We value prayerful and expressive worship that glorifies God.
Meaningful worship honors God and inspires people.
God’s revealed attributes and His mighty deeds cause us to worship.
Prayerful worship reflects our dependence and reliance on God.
Creative Outreach –
We value passionate sharing of Jesus Christ with others.
Lost people matter to God and therefore they matter to us.
Missions work supports ministries to make disciples around the world.
Sharing Jesus requires adapting to people in various cultures.
Caring Relationships –
We value a caring community where people love and serve one another.
Caring for people means loving them in an environment of grace.
Our community functions interdependently with each other.
Caring relationships grow in a unified body living with grace and freedom.
Transforming Discipleship –
We value the process of people growing to maturity in Christ.
Discipleship wins unbelievers, builds them up in Christ and sends them out to make disciples.
Many forms of discipleship equip the saints for the work of ministry.
Everyone who follows Jesus becomes a disciple-maker.
We value faithful stewardship of all God’s gifts.
God has given us blessings and spiritual gifts as resources to serve others.
Excellence honors God, inspires people and is our standard in stewardship and service.
Every believer is a minister in stewardship and service.
