At Grace, the Men’s Ministry seeks to connect men together to worship God, equip together with other men to become more like Christ, and then multiply together as a band of brothers to impact the world with the gospel. Our hope is that we can present every man complete in Christ (Colossians 1:28). We have a desire for every man at Grace to be a godly leader in all his spheres of influence through the application of God’s Word in the power of the Holy Spirit.
How are we seeking to accomplish this?
Men’s Breakfasts – One Saturday each month we as men band together for a time of sharpening as we share breakfast as well as a time of teaching, testimony, worship, and/or prayer.
DiscipleLIFE Classes/Home Groups – These groups are for both men and women. DiscipleLIFE classes meet on Sunday morning and Home Groups meet throughout the week. Both men and women participate. We encourage everyone at Grace to participate in these discipleship groups and would like our men to lead the way!
Men’s Discipleship – One of the great exhortations in the Bible is Paul’s challenge to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2 – “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.” If you have an interest in being discipled or discipling another man or group of men, contact your Home Group leader, Fellowship Group leader, or one of the pastors to express your desire.
Men’s Prayer – Men’s Prayer meets at the church on Thursday mornings from 6:30-7:30 a.m. The first portion is used to discuss Sunday’s message and its application to our lives. The last portion is spent in prayer. Several of the men go out for breakfast together afterwards.
