Fellowship Groups
Fellowship Groups - Communities within the Congregation
Mission: To equip and encourage one another to love God, love others and make disciples

The following Fellowship Groups meet Sunday at 9am:

Legacy
The Legacy Fellowship Group is specifically committed to the task of leaving a godly legacy and raising up the next generation for Christ (Second Timothy 2:2, Deuteronomy 6:5-7). It is our desire to model, teach and encourage one another in our roles within the family, the church, the community and the world.

The Refuge
The Refuge Fellowship Group is devoted to the principle of Ezra 7:10. It is our goal to offer, or to restore, the wonder and reality of God’s Word in the lives of each believer. It is our desire to see each one in our fellowship living out what the Bible teaches, and then teaching what we know to others. We desire our group to be a place of shelter from the storms of life, while at the same time being a fellowship that equips believers to influence the culture around us.

Senior Adults
The O.W.L.S. (Older Wiser Loving Saints) is a Fellowship Group for senior adults who are committed to the Lord, His Word, and His people. We have the shared goal of growing in our relationship with Christ through Bible study, fellowship, and ministry to one another and the greater church body (Galatians 6:10). Together we take the life of Christ to the world in which God the Holy Spirit leads us in our daily lives.

The following Fellowship Groups meet Sunday at 10:30am:
"10:31"
The "10:31" Fellowship Group (named because is starts on time at 10:30, NOT 10:31!) seeks to develop a deep, personal relationship with God and His Word, in order to provide a counter to the culture around us by way of His truth. We focus on developing relationships with working singles, college students, couples, and young families by helping one another actively live out the Bible as spouses, parents, friends and workers.  Click here for a list of planned activities!

Word Processors
The Word Processors Fellowship Group is a group of all ages that have a love for the Lord and enjoy being together. We spend time each week in prayer and Bible study, trusting the Holy Spirit’s leading as we apply it to our lives. The group also supports the ministry of Servant’s Heart of Indy.

A Word From The Elders:
In the book of I Peter, chapter 5, the elders are instructed to “shepherd the flock of God among you.” We, the elders at Grace, have a deep desire to fulfill this biblical exhortation. In order to do this, we have created Fellowship Groups or midsize communities where the elders and key teachers of the church can exercise oversight of the flock in order for the mission of Grace to be carried out. The church can only be the church if people know one another, care for one another and reach out to others. We lovingly encourage you to participate in one of these biblical communities that you might grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Philosophy: The Fellowship Group philosophy of ministry believes midsize groups or communities are the foundational ministry to adults in a church setting. Although there are several other influential ministries to adults such as Men’s and Women’s Ministries, this philosophy believes it is essential to encourage as many adults as possible who attend a church to identify with and become part of a Fellowship Group.
Fellowship Groups are committed to “living out” the characteristics of a biblical community (Acts 2:42-47) and being “salt and light” to the people in their sphere of influence (Matthew 5:13-16).
