Women's Ministry
Grace Evangelical Church’s Women’s Ministry, also known as W.I.N.G.S. is short for Women In Need of God's Strength. W.I.N.G.S. exists to encourage each woman to know and follow God’s Word, serving God and others, so that each woman’s life will glorify God in her sphere of influence. The women of Grace gather on a regular basis for encouragement from God’s Word and one another. Please join us for one of our regular or special events. Come and bring a friend, renew friendships and plan to make a new friend.
This year's theme for Women's Ministry:
"Lord, Help Me 'bee' a Titus 2 Woman!"
Titus 2:3-5 The older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things - that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.
Upcoming Events:
Titus 2 Thursday! Thursday, November 13 from 6:45 pm to 8:30 pm
Topic: Holiday Hospitality
Ladies, the holidays are quickly approaching. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to do several things ahead of time so on the actual day you can relax? This is what our next Titus 2 Thursday is about. We are going to discuss tips and tricks (and recipes too) that we can do ahead of time to make the holidays go more smoothly.
When: Thursday, November 13 at 6:45 pm to 8:30 pm
Where: Grace Church in the café area
Topics include:
meal planning (including those for guests who come early and stay late)
make ahead dishes
family traditions
gift exchange ideas
other ideas
This is for all ladies to share their knowledge and experience, encouraging one another unto Godliness in practical ways. And whether you plan on attending or not, we want your input on any topics that could be helpful. So please e-mail Gretchen Jaynes (gjaynes26@ hotmail.com) or Joyce Young (joyceandlamar@ sbcglobal.net) with any of the topics from above or one of your own ideas. We will share these and possibly put them in a little book for everyone to take home. Please e-mail us as soon as possible.

You can bring a craft or project and work on those during this time as well. Even if you don't have kids, this can be a great time to sit and chat with other women and take a break from our busy lives.
