Men's Ministry
R.O.C.K. (Reaching Others for Christ's Kingdom) Ministries exists for the purpose of presenting every man complete in Christ (Colossians 1:28). We have a desire for every man at Grace to be a godly leader in all his spheres of influence through the application of God's Word in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Hungry Hunters are men hunting for God's will through a deeper understanding of God's message to them. They are hungry for God and He satisfies them with goodness. Psalm 107:8 - "For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness." This study teaches men how to use the message, rather than just listen to the messagte. Pastor Bryan leads this group on Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30pm
Men's Prayer meets Thursday mornings from 6:30-7:30 a.m. The first half hour is used to discuss Sunday's message and relevant application. The next half hour is spent in group prayer. Join the men of GEC as they pray for the needs of the church. Several of the men go out for breakfast together afterwards.
Triple Cord Groups is a small group ministry based on Ecclesiastes 4:12 "Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken." The groups provide an environment for men to develop trust and open their lives to other men in the context of God's grace. Participation forms are located across from the Information Center and should be returned to Pastor Gary.
Open Gym happens on Thursdays from 7-9 p.m., when men gather to play basketball. Both half court and full court games are played during the evening. We also have a softball team and golf fellowship during the summer.
Mentoring One Another One of the great exhortations in the Bible is Paul's challenge to Timothy in II Timothy 2:2 - ...teach these great truths to trustworthy men who will, in turn, pass them on to others." If you have an interest in being mentored or in mentoring another man or group of men, contact your Fellowship Group leader or Pastor Gary to express your desire.
