Justification
How can God accept sinners into His presence? How can God clear sinners from judgment? How can God judge an innocent Person and clear the guilty?
Justification is an act of God declaring the person righteous on the basis of faith in Christ. It begins with the grace of God. Below is a theology or doctrine of Justification. Knowing what Scripture teaches about a subject gives us greater confidence to the extent God took in order to plan, provide for, and secure our salvation. Praise be to His name.
Justification:
It comes from God the Father Rom. 8:33. It does not make right.
It is God's gift to us Rom. 3:24. We do not merit it- it's grace.
It is poured out upon us richly through Christ Tit. 3:6,7.
It frees the believer from all bondage of sin Acts 13:38,39.
The basis of Justification is the blood of Christ.
His blood was a propitiation to the Father Rom. 3:24.
Our justification caused His resurrection Rom. 4:25.
