The Welcome Ministry has the high calling of welcoming all people to Grace. We desire they walk through the door and sense that people care for them, because we want them to know that God does! There are several opportunities for serving on the Welcome Ministry:
- Door greeters
- Welcome center greeters
- Children’s wing greeters
- Secondary greeters who are available to lead guests to one of the parts of the church where they might find out more about Grace or join a DiscipleLIFE class
- Ushers for the usher ministry
- Greeters at exits as people depart from church
The InReach Ministry is calling for volunteers! The 2015 goal of the InReach Ministry is to connect with every family, member, and attendee within the Grace church body, so we might serve our church in such a way that will ultimately help fill our body of believers with the power of the Holy Spirit, enthusiasm, and excitement for the Lord! But to achieve this goal, we are seeking a number of additional volunteers to join us in this exciting opportunity.
What are the qualifications to volunteer? The only qualifications are that you are passionate for the Lord, you care about other people, and you have a desire to help grow and strengthen our church!
What does it involve? In the majority of instances, you would only be asked to connect with individuals whom you might already know. In addition, your commitment of time can be adjusted to your availability.
How do I get involved? If you’re interested in serving in this important ministry, please contact the office and we’ll put you in touch with one of our current volunteers. We would be delighted to answer any questions you might have or describe in greater detail our goals and mission. Please consider this opportunity for yourself, for the betterment of our church community, and for the great commission which the Lord has discharged to all of us as His foot soldiers in Christ.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” (Isaiah 6:8)
